Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf Sunday night invoked Article 234 of the Constitution and announced the imposition of a state governor in the province of Baluchistan after dismissing the government of Sardar Aslam Raisani from today (Monday).
He said the children were also among the victims.He demanded the government to provide full security to Hazara traders, students and other leaders during their movement in the city.
The prime minister said he was at a loss for words to express regret over the tragic incidents of Quetta, adding that the country was committed to the fight against terrorism.
He said that before taking any important decision that the government has to act according to proper procedure. He said the compensation money for all Hazara victims will be paid on January 31. It also directed the Balochistan chief secretary to assist the wounded and that all expenses for the treatment of the wounded would be born by the federal government.
During the announcement, the Majlis-e-Muslimeen Wahdatul (MWM) leader Allama Nasir Abbas reiterated the demand to call the army in the city of Quetta, said Border Police (FC) was unable to control the situation. He wondered why the army was not being called in the city.
Although Saadat Ali Hazara chief welcomed the federal government’s actions, there was discord in the community by breaking the camp unless the measures announced were notified. Saadat Ali told reporters that he saw no reason to continue the camp that the prime minister had accepted all their demands. He said some people “outside” want to spoil the situation.

He said the sitting members of the Hazara community and demand for calling the army was strong evidence of their lack of trust in government.
